New universal credits affect on home education

I was just reading this link
www.cpag.org.uk/universalcredit/uc_factsheet.htm

I don't know much about the new universal credit that is coming in but this link scared me. At the moment dh works and I stay at home, we have 6 children and get CTC and WTC. Our eldest is HE and our 2nd child is likely to be also once he's finished primary school.

If I'm reading the link right it says I have to be looking for/going to work once my youngest gets to 3/4/5 years of age. I know some people do work and HE but I'm not sure how I can HE my children (one with special needs), work and look after the other children along with the cleaning, cooking etc

Does anyone have any more info on these new rules?

Hi

I'm going to be adding Universal Credits updates to my web page about state benefits here edyourself.org/articles/jobseekers.php as soon as the Welfare Reform Bill finishes in the House of Commons and before it goes to the Lords. At the moment it's still in Committee.
services.parliament.uk/bills/2010-11/welfarereform.html
Potentially it will not be good for home educators because the White Paper which preceded the Welfare Reform Bill seemed to drop the safety net of lack of affordable appropriate childcare being "just cause" for turning down or leaving a job. Instead the Govnt is now talking about "good reason" and appearing to give far more leeway to Decision Makers in employment services. Plus, employment services are to be privatised, with businesses getting commission for people-into-work (or people-off-benefits...)So yep, one to watch, I think.
