Hi

Can anyone recommend one please? I'm more and more interested in HEding my DD1 6yrs and DD2 and 3 5yr old twins. They are at school at the moment and accept it as 'the norm' and this would help me to explain the 'concept'of HE at their level.

Thanks!!

I have no idea if there's such a book, catnip. Maybe it would help if you emailed the local HE group and asked if any families would mind arranging to meet up with you a few times so that your children can play with and talk to theirs, while you chat with their mum?

Whereabouts do you live?

Do you know how to find local HEors? There are a few websites with lists of local groups/email lists.

Hello catnipkitty. There's a book by Liz Pilley called 'Freya and Heath are home educated' (I think it's called that, or something very similar) and another one for older children called something like the Genie in the Teapot. If you google her you should find it.

Also she runs a home ed group in Stoneleigh, near Carshalton. It meets on a Thursday between 12 - 3.30pm. If you go to yahoo groups and look for Southwestlondonsurreybordershomeed and join this, it has the details of Stoneleigh group and other local groups.
Hope this helps.
