How do you say 'I am home educated' in French?

French dh says "je ne vais pas à l'école, c'est mes parents qui me font la classe"

But he does admit that home ed is so rare in France that he's never come across it before, so that may not be the easiest way, but would explain it.

Home éducation is "instruction en famille".
I'm home educated is "je fais l'école à la maison" (this is the most common way and what people usually understand, but for homeschoolers this may mean you follow a daily school-like education, so this is not the best term for free homeschoolers and for unschoolers) or "je suis instruit(e) en famille" (which is less common but this is a better expression to talk about home ed).
