HEROS in berkshire

can someone please talk more to me about it?

I emailed them absolutely ages ago and no one got back to me-and I'm kind of reluctant to call as I think from their website they want you to email first...

we're now very seriously possibly relocating to Berkhampsted, about an hour away, and I really want to know what they have to offer. My older kids are 5 and 7.

One major question also-is it a drop in, no book thing, or should we get in touch now and make sure there are spaces?

Hi. My grandson started at Heroes last Monday and Tuesday.

On Monday, he did cooking, First Aid, small animal care, debating/discussions, and science, maths.

Tuesday he did art/dance, animal care, bike maintenance, and they are bringing in pottery also.#
It runs from 10.30 am to 4pm. It's not a drop in - it's a sort of flexi-school.

My dd has done some things at heroes (atm she's coming to the end of a 6 week animal husbandry course). We rarely use it, as Marjorie says it is effectively a flexi-school which doesn't really fit with our ed-phil but if you want that sort of thing it's a good resource to have. It is also, imo, very expensive - communication can be a bit hit & miss, you may need to email bomb them.

There are loads of groups in Berkshire & Oxfordshire, have you joined the Berkshire HE yahoo group?
