Calling banquette experts!

Hi all,
In the process of organising a new kitchen and the plan is to have a straight run of single height pan drawers as banquette seating in the dining area. I was going to add a painted pdf top and make some foam cushions. Hoping to get our kitchen fitters to build a slightly angled back for comfort.
What I am not sure about is what goes under the drawers. I think the feet that come with them will be too high at 15cm, so was hoping to build a lower frame for them to sit on. Then what should I do about a plinth/skirting? The rest of the kitchen will have skirting, but I'm not sure if this would be annoying on the banquette. I wondered about a recessed plinth perhaps divided up by devol style furniture feet in between the drawers.
If you have a banquette, where do you put your feet? Are drawers a bad idea altogether as you can't tuck your feet under? I would miss the storage though if we scrap that idea.
Any help much appreciated!

Don bother they’re a pan in the arse. If you have people over for dinner, even if there are only 4 sitting along it, people have to keep getting up if someone needs the loo etc. it’s even worse if they’re longer.

I think it is quite uncomfortable to sit where your lower legs can't go back and under the seat a bit. I see where you're going with the storage & I'm sorry to rain on your parade, but it's what I think. 💐
