Hi I have oak furniture land (OFL) bedroom furniture in grey and want to paint the grey carcass to match my bedroom but keep the oak top. My questions are, is this possible? Has anyone done this? If so how did you do it please?

Yes, it’s absolutely possible - I’ve done quite a lot of furniture using Frenchic paint which is very easy to use. You might have to give the furniture a light sanding, but that brand of paint is practically foolproof and goes on most (clean) surfaces like a dream. Go on their website and have a look at the colours and explanation of how to use it - I’ve found it the easiest to use by a long way and gives great results.

Thank you. 🤩 I’ve used frenchic before but can’t gat a colour match so applying the same principles of prep for frenchic do you think it would be ok with same paint as on walls? I’ve already done pine doors and they are ok but were bare wood.

Don’t see why not. I used frenchic Hornblower (a dark navy) on my bedroom walls and then painted all the furniture with the same paint and it’s worked well. If you have any queries, you could always call a Frenchic stockist and ask them what they’d advise. I think there is one of their ranges that’s designed for doing anything and it needs minimal prep too - win-win in my book 😁
