Refinishing an oiled oak table.

Hello, I would appreciate advice on refinishing a contemporary oiled oak kitchen table. I purchased it unfinished and simply added a coat of linseed oil.
It has begun to turn yellowish and I would like to redo it with a 'bois flotté' look or like driftwood . Suggestions welcome. @Slawit ? Thanks!

Linseed is awful stuff. I use Osmo oil on my worktops and table - it’s brilliant. Easy to use and very hard wearing. They do an Osmo Tints range which includes white, this should give you the look you’re after.

Thanks @Pollymollydolly for your suggestion.

I live on the continent so don't have access to Osmo oil locally. I will look for it online though. Is it basically a tinted oil with a bit of varnish added?

Do you think it would work directly added to the present finish, which is only one thin coat of linseed oil or teck oil and has been used for 10 years?.
Should this be removed first? Thank you.

It’s a hard wax oil - it’s really easy to use but if I were you I’d try and remove the linseed oil first so you get the best finish. It’s water and heat resistant so ideal for tables, really hard wearing. When it needs a top up it’s just a case of applying another light coat. My oak worktops are elmost 20 years old and as perfect as the day they went in - and we are far from careful! I put hot pans straight onto the worktop from the hob! I hope you are able to get some, it’s a fabulous product

You can remove some waxes with mineral oil, like white spirits. This would probably do the job for linseed I guess?

I once removed all the old wax and oils from an old walnut wardrobe with amoniac and water. I had to rinse it thoroughly with the garden hose to remove it all. Disgusting job I would never do again, but it worked .
