We are moving next week and I'm hoping to treat the new pad to some new accessories like lights, bunting, vases etc. Any recommendations on online shops worth a nosey that are a step away from the high street/obviously choice? Thanks!

Red Candy has some quirky items also good for presents.

Pooky
Cotswold Company
Sostrene Green
South of the river (used to do home bits as well as the clothes, don’t know if they still do)
Duffer of St George (online)

Rockett St George
Where Saints Go

I still like to pick up something a bit unusual via TK Maxx though.

TK maxx I’m obsessed with!

We get most of ours second hand on eBay/The Saleroom or from fleamarkets/antique fairs. I tend to buy discounted remnants of designer fabrics for cushions/curtains and make them up myself.

Agree with Pooky for lighting. Wolf & Badger were good, but not shopped there recently. Have found lovely table linens from Kaho Prints and bedding from Sage & Clare/Society of Wanderers (both in Australia but international shipping isn't too bad).

I used to like Homesense/TK Maxx for occasional decorative bits as they often had unique/end of line items (eg, I once picked up a fabulous Anke Drechsel cushion with an RRP of £400+ for £74!), but since the pandemic their shops sadly seem to have gone down the tubes. Went into our nearest Homesense on Friday and came away empty-handed as it was full of cheap, Chinese tat.
