I'm trying to create a calm room and like these sort of colours, but nothing looks right at home. (It's a screenshot of a Pinterest type site).

Can you tell me what the undertones of these beiges/ creams are?

I'd say slightly warm. You are better off finding tones without a greyish or blue hint in them, which makes them cold.

Top one is cool. Rest are warm

The lighting in the room in the pic is warm.
If you are trying to replicate in a North facing room you will have to go much warmer than you think so that they look as warm as your picture.

Thank you. How do you all see this? My room is North/east, but more north. I want tranquil in there, but there are so many shades that it's not easy!

Hi, as your room is north facing the incoming natural light is cold/blue-influenced so keep to the warm/pink undertones for your biege colour. Avoid selecting colours online as these are digital representations of rather than actual hues. Get samples and put the entire scheme together while considering all influential factors in your space. Biege combined with the right tints of blues and greens works a dream to create a sense of elegance and calm. Good luck.

I agree with @DesignAndConkerInteriors you need samples in a North facing room. They always look different. I would try some cream or even pale yellows or peaches. I can guarantee they won't look very yellow/orange in a North facing room. Maybe matched with warm sage or olive greens?
