Thoughts on this sofa

We need a sofa bed for living room, without spending through the roof. What are your thoughts on this? DH likes it, I am not sure we currently have a moorland DFS sofa falling apart so it's a very different style to what we currently have

We have a very sturdy sofa bed from John Lewis (admittedly in our snug not the main living room) that is a good size and with a mattress topper very comfortable. Might be an alternative? Only thing is, is not especially cuddly as a sofa. I think it's hard to get a snuggly sofa that is then a comfy bed.

It wouldn't be for me - imho it's rather ugly and doesn't look comfy at all. I certainly wouldn't want to have to sleep on it. But if it ticks your boxes @Laurasanford789 then my opinion is just that.

Years ago we had a futon from the futon company that looked ok as futons go (DH chose it as it was going in his office/music room, my only input was the colour), but which was incredibly uncomfortable - due to the wood frame and thin 'mattress'. Teen DS's mates used it occasionally, but when my elderly parents were coming to stay we decided it wasn't suitable and got rid, replacing it with a proper bed.

I really like it and think Dunelm have got such interesting designers
