Looks like bogey to me. Sorry.

Growsomeballswoman · 06/06/2025 13:40

I’d say it was a light apple green

Looks like Lime Cloud by Sanderson (same company as the wallpaper)

almostbloody50 · 06/06/2025 13:43

juts did a reverse image search for you which may help…..

The wallpaper in the image is the Sanderson Yarton design, specifically the Littlemore colorway. It features a small-scale leaf pattern in a soft, fresh green. The specific shade of green on the wall is not explicitly named, but it appears to be a muted, light green, possibly similar to a spring green or celadon.

The green color in the image could be a combination of the wallpaper's soft green and the painted wainscoting beneath it. The wainscoting appears to be a slightly more saturated and darker green, likely a custom paint color chosen to complement the wallpaper.

Here are some common shades of green that are similar to the ones displayed:

  • Spring Green: A fresh, vibrant light green often associated with new growth.
  • Celadon: A pale, grayish-yellowish green, often used in traditional pottery and design.
  • Lime Green: A vivid, yellowish-green, often used in modern designs.
  • Pistachio Green: A soft, muted green, trending in spring/summer 2025 collections, and easy to pair with other colors.
  • Sage Green: A muted, grayish-green, often used in interiors for its calming effect.

Thanks @Growsomeballswoman

The light apple green looks more yellowish to me:

It makes sense! 🙏

I found the picture on Ruggable (rug company) and it was part of a collab with Sanderson.

I though it was the name of the artist 😅

Well spotted too 🙏

It is indeed Sanderson. Thoughts on the paint and wallpaper combo?

It would make most sense!

I'd still want a tester pot first though as you can't trust digital images to be a true colour representation (it's also quite similar to acorn, by little greene paint)

That said, I would say it is not a sage!

wand3rer · 06/06/2025 13:56

DrPangloss · 06/06/2025 13:47

I'd say it looks like sage. But different cameras and different screens render colours in different ways, so the colour I'm seeing might not be the colour you're seeing.

The sage shade is noticeably darker. But I completely agree... Different screen setups can make colour comparisons very tricky 🙏

In what room size do you think this shade would work best before it becomes too overpowering?

This site is useful if you know the reference paint but want to know the closest alternatives:

Depends on more than just room size... You also want to consider the amount of light the room gets.

I think it would suit a sunny room with lots of natural light.

It also would need to be paired with either that /similar wallpaper, or a similar off-white neutral (e.g. above lime panelling or woodwork). Otherwise the green will reflect and it could be quite an intense experience!!

All very good points 🙏 A lot to think about!

It's lovely. Very refreshing and lickable. Yum.

I have this colour in my Kitchen can’t remember the brand but it was called antique green . I thought it looked brighter on the walls than the colour on the tin, went a bit mad and painted my cupboards dusky pink actually looked really well !
