L shaped garden sofa recommendations

My existing garden furniture is reaching the end of its life, I really want an L shaped sofa but not rattan or faux rattan, possibly wooden framed but open to options. Wondering if anyone has any recommendations?

We bought the Hartman Dubai set about three years ago and it’s been brilliant. We remove the cushions and cover it over winter and it’s as good as new. I was a bit unsure about how hard wearing rope would be but so far there’s no sign of any wear.

I bought this from John Lewis last year. It’s great, comfy. The cushions are too difficult to put away and the frame looks no different after a winter outside.
I also have a rattan L shape. It cost about a third of the price of the John Lewis one and still looks very good 8 years on.

Edit! NOT too difficult to put away.

Ooh thanks @IndieRocknRoll I’ve been wondering how hard wearing the rope ones would be.

Love that @Lamelie but another requirement is the sofa has arms of some sort due to some mobility issues.

We’ve got this one too, very happy with it

edit to say: yes, sorry, maybe not ideal in that case. Also it is very light, which I like, but maybe not so good if you need to haul yourself up from it

@SheherazadesSpringNonsense yes sadly there’s an element of hauling going on getting up from any furniture these days

Without a doubt Kettler . We LOVE ours and is the best we ever had…

If you can stretch to something with an aluminium frame, then it’s worth it. It’s light, so easy to move, and it doesn’t rust so lasts well and doesn’t require any upkeep (like wood etc does), maybe just a quick hose/clean at start and end of spring/summer seasons.

Again, if you can stretch, then aluminium frame with seating/cushions made from proper outdoor fabric is a game changer. Can be left out in all weathers, no running to gather it all up when it rains etc.

I can’t really find aluminium frame ones that work.

Thinking of going for a cox and cox one

We have just bought the "Lifestyle Garden Martinique Deluxe Casual Corner Dining Chair Set in Woodsmoke" from Garden furniture.co.uk.

Are really pleased with the quality & comfort.
Synthetic ratan over an aluminium frame and shower proof cushions, it should hopefully stand the test of time (is under cover and cushions will be put away over winter).
It came really well packaged and there was an absolute minimum of assembly.

They also do a smaller set in the same range if space is an issue.

Had been looking for some time but never saw one that ticked all our boxes but this set does. Also pleased that they do it in a colour other than grey (as most seem to be at the moment).
