Home exterior advice - mock Tudor

Our house is a mock Tudor with dark brown cladding. Windows are oak and the brick is orange/ red. was thinking maybe to change to a sage green colour but just wondered if anyone had any ideas. I've attached a photo of a house with similar Tudor style for reference. Has anyone done a makeover on a Tudor? I just want to make it look more modern. Interior wise we've gone for mid century.

I'd leave it as it is and spend money on the inside instead.

I’ve seen houses this style where painting the outside in softer colours has made a huge difference. If budget allows I would paint the bricks and dark woodwork in paler shades - I have seen some nice effects with lighter and darker stone type colours, or cream and sage - but leave the tiles alone.

Please don't paint the bricks

Sorry to be clear we don't have tiles, we have wooden cladding but I wanted you to get the gist. My thoughts were to paint the cladding sage green and the Tudor beams and then go for a clean cream colour where the Tudor bit is. At the moment it's more of a yellowy cream which also looks dated. Or we thought about replacing the cladding with composite cladding in green but I think this would cost more

We won't be painting the bricks. They're a lovely red/ orangey brown colour that look lovely with the oak windows. We did paint a side gate door in sage green and it actually works well with the brick and the oak so I do think this colour would work well on a larger scale

Ah ok. Yes I think pale cream and sage could look nice, you don’t want too much contrast between the two colours though . If you look on pinterest or houzz for mock tudor paint you will find examples

Fair enough re the bricks, never paint nice bricks I was picturing not-nice ones.

Are the windows oak colour or very dark like the ones in the pic?

No sorry, the windows are a medium oak colour, not dark like the photo. I didn't want to post an actual photo of our house so just used that as a reference.
