Help me find a linen cupboard

I need to get a large cupboard to store our linen/towels etc, unfortunately the only space we have for it is under the eaves heading up stairs, so dimensions wise it can't be any taller than about 80cm, but it can be up to 150cm wide. Budget around £500. Doesn't need drawers, just shelves. Has anyone seen anything that would fit?

Can you get a carpenter to make a bespoke thing in MDF to make the best of the space?
Otherwise I’d be googling for a sideboard.
I had a thing like this for my linen once. It was a sideboard cupboard. Got mine from eBay for very little.
Can’t do links but a quick google brings up Roseland Furniture large Farrow sideboard which looks perfect for what you want.

How deep can it be? I'd look at sideboards from IKEA. Measurements on their website are width x depth x height. For bed linen and towels you need a decent depth front to back.

Have a look at the ikea hacks social media pages.

Or do as suggested above and get a carpenter to do it for you!

But built in definite is best for full usage of the space.

Two 1 x 4 IKEA Kallax, stacked lengthways. Looks like nearly a perfect fit and cheaper than £500!

I think I'm going have to buy a sideboard, because a carpenter can't make something bespoke on my budget. Thanks for the suggestions.

You don't need a carpenter. Simply buy some 4cm battening from B&Q https://www.diy.com/departments/metsa-wood-smooth-planed-whitewood-spruce-stick-timber-l-2-4m-w-44mm-t-44mm/1798351_BQ.prd]] like this]] and attach two 80cm lengths to the walls either side of the recess with a couple of screws & rawl plugs.

Get a couple of lightweight doors like this:
https://www.diy.com/search?Height+%28mm%29=762&Width+%28mm%29=610&term=louvre+doors

And blank off the excess area at the front of the recess that's greater than the size of these doors with a couple of bits of mdf. You can use more battening &mdf for a couple of shelves.

B&q will cut the mdf to size for you so there's virtually no DIY skill involved. You could do the whole thing on a Saturday afternoon for less than £100 if you already have tools, or budget for £100 more if you'd need to buy a few basic tools too.

@RatedDoingMagic you make it sound so easy, I'm so bad at DIY, even a simple hook in the bathroom turned into an enormous hole in the wall which needed filling!

Grin Fair enough. But a handyman type odd-job person could whip up something perfectpy decent with basic DIY skills for £300ish in that case, whereas a carpenter woukd do something beautifully crafted for £1000 which goes way beyond what you need or can affordm

Have a look at made to measure flat pack, like Online Bedrooms - you can get them made with a slope to maximise space

Thanks, will check them out @january1244
