White Quartz hob splashbacks, how likely are they to burn or discolour?

Will be with an induction hob but still a little nervous.

Mine is exactly the same colour as it was when installed about 13 years ago.

Good to hear. Do you mind me asking the gap distance?

No splashback but we're spilly with tea and have had rusty marks absorbed through iron pots. Absolutely every stubborn stain has been removed with either baking powder and lemon or those magic erasers (a sponge thing). So even if it stained you could just clean it every so often.

They’re ok, but I’ve had a few stressful moments trying to remove stains from Indian food. If youre getting to the age where you just want to wipe things down and get on with life I’d probably choose something else.

No issues with our quartz worktops or slashbacks here, they are 6 years old. Occasional stain is easily lifted with barkeepers friend left for a few minutes.

More worried about yellowing or burning from heat than stains.

Heat from the hob to be more specific.

No that won't happen but every stain, even a dribble from a teaspoon when making a cup of tea has to be taken off with baking powder rubbed in. And turmeric!
