Looking for air fryer recommendations as a first time buyer. I live by myself and looking for a good air fryer.

Any recommendations:)

Ninja, the smallest one is perfect for 1 or 2 people. 3.8 litre I think , around £70

We got a basic one from Tesco. No point spending lots if it ended up in the cupboard. Turns out it's actually quite useful.

Ninja are the best and come in a few different sizes

I have a Tower twin air fryer.

It’s got two small compartments which is good for one person and it works fine. But the interface has been designed by a sociopath. The power button flashes on and off all the time and is so close to the stop-start button that I often lose all the cooking settings because I hit power instead of start.

Before that I had a Ninja for 24 hours but returned it because I couldn’t cope with the beeping. If I was picking again I’d get a Wonder Oven cos at least it would look nice

I bought a Scoville 4.3l one from Asda today, £20, usually £30. Haven’t tried it yet but it has good reviews and the till assistant said she had a larger capacity Scoville which she was very happy with.

I have had both a cheap Tower one (was less than £30) and an expensive Ninja one (was £169). Honestly, not much different. I get the Ninja one does all sorts of things like pressure cook and dehumidify mushrooms, but actually I just slam some chicken nuggets (for example) in it and then get them out 12 minutes later. I would get one though, it has been a godsend, and we use it a lot. I honestly think a lot of people could completely do without a full sized cooker these days if they had a microwave, steamer, slow cooker and air fryer. Baking aside, or large Christmas day type cooking, there are very few things that you have to do in an oven or a hob that you could not do with a combo of the above.

We've got a ninja foodie. I do lots in it and I reckon it's paid for itself.

Ninja Speedi - has loads of functions on top of air frying.

Thank you all Grin. That's helped a lot. It's hard to choose with so many out there and being an air fryer virgin 🤭 this has definitely narrowed it down for me
