Just that really. Watching a few on eBay & wondering if anyone recommends them? Or should I avoid?

Thank you

I've heard they sag horribly and the seat cushions get very lumpy. Possibly just the ones where the seat cushions are down/feather filled(?). They look lovely though!

I know of somebody who's had one a good few years and they love it, particularly with kids as easy to wipe off marks.

Thanks folks.

@tangobravo thats the impression I’m getting. Look lovely on the website but the ones I’ve viewed on eBay look a bit shapeless , as if all the ‘plump’ has gone.

Yes,I've got the Henry from there and it's really comfortable. Best thing about it is that there's no cushion divide on the seat, so it doubles as a sofa bed (for shortish people). V costly though.

Loaf - I tested out a few in the shop before buying from A&J. Not impressed. They look stylish, but the cushion filling feels cheap and uncomfortable. It seemed to rustle and scrunch, whether it was feathers or foam.

I have loaf! Pudding 4 seater in velvet (dark), 2 seater in linen and a gramps armchair. We have had them 5 years, hardly any wear, fabric very good, and marks have come off with a steam clean. We are a family if 4 by the way and the sofas get a lot of use. Down sides: depending on style no support for back which DH didn't like (hence the gramps chair) and the base cushions are very saggy and so heavy to reshape. I find them very comfortable, the 4 seater is like a bed.

We purchased a very expensive sofa that unfortunately sags significantly. After just one use, all six cushions need to be reshaped—including the long chaise cushion, which is particularly difficult to manage alone. You have to drag it to the floor and stomp on it to get it back into shape.
Due to our demanding work schedules, we were delayed in raising our concerns. When we finally did, the company dismissed the issue, citing "no manufacturing fault" and refusing to acknowledge any design flaws. While the problem is clearly design-related, none of these limitations were disclosed at the time of purchase.
So be warned: once you're past the statutory return period, there’s little recourse—even at premium Loaf prices. Proceed with caution.
