Where can I get a good bed and matress from?

Maybe I am cursed but I have had a bad round of beds with awful matresses. I think I've spent a small fortune on them now.

I am in need of a superking bed now and am hoping someone can recommend me a decent company in the northwest or online.

Thank you

Hypnos. The comfiest best bed I’ve ever slept in.

We got ours from Nectar (not the Sainsburys card), both the frame and the mattress. Loved it. My husband is a big boy and he said his side was sagging - called them up, someone came round and agreed and less than a week later we had a brand new one which is again blissful. That was after three or four years but they have a 20 year guarantee I think - I am 8.5 stone, husband 17 and probably didn't turn it enough. I have had a Simba and my daughter has an Emma and this is the best.

Just checked and Nectar is a lifetime guarantee.

Following as lying in our creaky bed .

Premier inn mattress from their website. We stay at them and always have a great night's sleep so bought one of their mattresses, which gives us a perfect night's sleep at home too. .

Mine is John Lewis and I was complimented on its comfort a couple of weeks ago by a friend who was sharing it with me.

I went into John Lewis and laid on a few of them, I discovered that the Tempur ones weren't for me but liked some of the JL ones, it depends if you prefer sprung, pillow top, memory foam etc. I would go and try various different types.

We got our superking zip and link bed and mattress from Warren Evans a couple of years ago and are really pleased with it.

Try Doorway to value in Chorley, Lancashire if you want to see them in real life. Stock a variety of beds, we got a hypnos pillowtop from there and it's been great

Definitely go into a shop and lie on them. You don't have to buy from there, but it should give you an idea about what type you prefer. If you prefer different harnesses, then a zip together one might be an option.

Remember you aim to spend 8 of every 24 hours in bed, and life without good sleep quickly becomes intolerable. It's worth spending time and money on buying a good one.
