Which tiles for bathroom.

After 2 lonnnnnggg years of renovating we are about to start the final bathroom and can’t decide which tiles/colour scheme to go for.

the bathroom will be a fluted free standing bath (very similar to the one in pic 2) and separate shower, wooden vanity and wall hung WC. Hardware will be brass.

the house in general is 1920s built and our decor is mid century modern with Scandinavian influences. Lots of natural wood and colour, greens, yellows, blues, oranges etc.

this is our forever home so not concerned with re sale or it not being to everyone’s taste.

I’m leaning towards the terrazzo and DH prefers the terricotta. Please help us decide, we start in 3 weeks!

The terracotta colour, BUT, get much larger tiles. Less grout, less cleaning and more tile. We've just finished renovating and am SO glad I listened to the tiler/builder and shop.

I have a terrazzo as wall panels) so glad I got it it's cheerful and fun!

The terracotta! But we've found the grout on smaller tiles isn't an issue if you don't go stark white. Love our skinny tiles like the ones your husband has picked

I like terrazzo but it's very on trend, not so timeless, I think it will age. The terracotta is more timeless but I don't like those tiles, the colour difference in them reminds me of an 80s kitchen. Look at Claybrook Studio, they have some gorgeous tiles and lots of terracotta. Mandarin Stone Oska tile is lovely, and available in a few shades.
