What colour of emulsion paint would you use to go with this wallpaper in kitchen/diningroom??

I am doing this on some walls in my kitchen/dining room. I have quite units with sold oak worktops. Grey laminate which I'm not that fond of but will have to say. I also have a dark green chair in the corner. I was thinking the darker beige colour but open to suggestions.

Did you post a photo? I can't see it.

I don't think we need to see a pic I'm sure the answer will be a "nice sage green" - it always is.😂The whole country will soon be painted in a nice sage green!

Just rethinking my choice of sage green for my kitchen 😂 despite adoring all shades of green !

I moved into a house previously owned by a "nice sage green" lover I have eradicated most of it - but unfortunately I still have "nice sage green" tiles in both bathrooms - used to be a "nice grey" and before that a "nice beige/sandstone"😎.

I wonder what the next nice colour will be.

Or could be navy blue, that's the new sage green isn't it?

Hard to know what's coming next - it needs to feel safe. Someone on another thread seemed to think all sash windows on period properties had to be white - white is the most depressing thing about UPVC windows - they are always white and there used to be great variation in window colours amongst period properties and walking down a particularly fine street where I live the period properties with white windows looked awful - warm cream was better (I even liked a "nice sage green" but the variation in colours was so beautiful - the best purple windows with pale yellow walls it looked surprisingly fabulous - now we slide down the colour to play safe and stay classic for fear it'll date - it's so bloody dull.
