Luxury lampshades?

Moved into our house last year and still haven't gotten round to sorting out lampshades for upstairs. I.need one for the hall, my bedroom my son's. Problem is every one I come across is either too plain, boring or cheap looking. I'm happy to spend a bit of money on these as I think they actually do make a difference.

Tried Homesense which I usually like but even these didn't fit the bill! Heals were £600, so a bit too pricey. Need to find a middle ground.

I would appreciate any ideas. Many thanks!.

Pooky or OKA do nice lampshades. There’s also various more niche places like Birdie Fortescue

Habitat do some nice ones

I've got some beautiful lampshades from Etsy. I wanted a specific Liberty fabric to match something else and it's fantastic.

“Ginger jar lamp company” (Google or IG) are a Hong Kong company now in England and have beautiful shades in various colours.
Pooky also excellent for shades

I needed a small lightshade for a now £££ designer brand light.

Pooky sold and sent me an appropriately proportioned casual lampshade.

They package them well.

Misread, you want expensive ones. Try Mint and May or Graham and Green.

Thank you for all of these suggestions. Totally forgot about Pooky! Love them. Will try Oka and Graham and Green too!

I went on a half day lampshade making course. About £40 and I brought my own fabric. I got exactly what I wanted and have done several more at home since. But at that price, you could just do a course every time you wanted a lampshade.

Some years ago we went with Benchmarx - trade arm of Wickes - after a recommendation on here, and it's fabulous. At the time it was also extremely good value but I don't know what the prices are like now. I've just had a look and they have some lovely options in Forest Green.

Depends on style you want. I find some fantastic ones on Etsy, and have recently fallen in love with the nkuku ones also, which are more rustic.

Oh wow. Didn't even know these courses existed. Googling now!!
