Kitchen is average size. Yes I'm happy with our choice.

We have quartz worktops and we're very happy with them. They seem pretty robust. My only bugbear is how icy cold they are in the winter!

Quartz isn’t stone btw. It’s crushed stone chips mixed with resin. And if you want it for your worktop you need to move quickly, because it’s already been banned in Australia for safety reasons and it’ll soon be banned in the UK as well.

Nope. I’d bet my life there will also be a UK ban shortly. Some kitchen companies are campaigning for a ban already.

To be fair, it’s like asbestos in that it’s not dangerous once it’s installed. It’s only dangerous if you break it and breathe in the dust.
