Which off white for a dark kitchen?

I'm ready to paint my dark kitchen after having some plastering done. I can't decide what to go for colour wise as it's currently quite a dark green, and I just cant visualise it lighter. Can anyone advise? There's not a lot of natural light, the window is huge but leads to a dark corner so even on the brightest day you have to knock the light on when you go in the room.

I've put testers on for Dulux jasmine white and timeless but they're so similar, I just don't want it to be a cold white, which is why I thought pure brilliant white wasn't a good call.

Excuse the mess of the place, this was taken a few weeks ago...

Which off white for a dark kitchen?

I would look for a white that was close to the colour of the paler backsplash tile. I think that would unify it and brighten it. So that would be a white with a taupe undertone; not sure off the top of my head what specific white that would be, but that's what I would look for.

Good luck!

Thanks. It's impossible to compare them in the room as the green is so dark, all of the testers look exactly the same. I'm sure anything will be better!

Just Walnut is a nice soft off white.

Jasmine White has a green tint to it and Timeless a yellow. We had Timeless in our hallway/stairs/landing and it was nice when the sun hit it.

My whole home is painted in Timeless (except wallpapered feature wall in our bedroom and living room). I really like it as it bright without being hard and cold. Magnolia is more yellow which I didnt want to.

Firstly I would paint the samples onto white card or paper and stick them on the wall, move them around etc. If you can be bothered, you could do a base coat / undercoat to block the green and that would give you a better foundation to work out what colour you want on top.

I would aim for a colour that matches the lighter tile (like ShrubRose said) or the floor tiles. They look like a neutral pale grey to me, maybe a tiny bit of beige?

I'm getting some rooms decorated atm and found the colour choice overwhelming, so in the end I narrowed it down to the Farrow & Ball whites (and then got a colour match at B&Q!)

Also, if you have the budget to replace the worktop for a lighter colour, I think that would really brighten the room.

Apologies to @AnotherEmma but I think Wevet is too grey for what you want to achieve in that room, OP.

I think Timeless might work better with the lighter tile on the backsplash.
I'll try to have a look at the F&B colours later today.

I don't mind being disagreed with!
It is really hard to tell from a photo.

I've got Egyptian cotton in my kitchen but then it's not white but I only said as it goes well with green and you've got green tiles 😊 it's a nice cosy colour

( Dulux)

Have you looked at F&B Pointing? On my screen it looks very good with the floor, but I'm not sure it would work with the backsplash.
It's tricky - the whole kitchen is sort of muted in tone. On reflection, maybe it would be better to work with the darker colour backsplash tile.
🤔
