Dulux Help- 50 shades of white!

We've recently moved into a 1970s house with East and West facing windows. It's quite sunny (other than in the hallway). It's currently all covered in a yellowy magnolia.

The living room area is mostly open plan, with East windows in the living room and West facing windows in the kitchen/dining and second sitting area.
I am really struggling with picking the right shade of white! We want something neutral, fresh and not magnolia. I read previous threads and got some suggested test pots.

So far we've tried (all Dulux- can't really stretch to F&B and such)
Timeless- my favourite, but I am worried it will look a bit boring?
Jasmine white: DH says it looks a bit green
Cotton White- Looks cool to me, a bit bluey
Rock Salt- I don't like it, it's too grey
Cornflower white- well that's just light blue to me
Fine cream- looks like a pure white with a drop of yellow, actually very pleasant and DH favourite, but I worry it will look neon in bright sun
Summer linen- I like it, DH thinks it might just look like an old paint!

I also really love Nutmeg White which is a cool greige, I'd do the very sunny dining area in it with rest in timeless, but DH thinks it's too dark!
Otherwise I'd paint it all Timeless and DH would do it all in Fine Cream.

Have any of you used any of those paints in W/E rooms? I just keep coming back to Timeless... sorry for a long post!

@PlantsAndSpaniels since it's my DH who doesn't like Nutmeg White I wonder if I should just LTB?! 🤔

He's not into colours at all and I have a degree in design, surely my voice should count more than his!

Haha then you can paint it whatever colour you want. Will he really notice it once it's been painted?
Also what furniture do you have? It looks a lot paler next to the white stuff we have compared to the oak which looks warm.

I threatened DH I'll just paint it early in the morning, before he gets up!
We're about to swap our tired dark IKEA furniture for some light, solid oak. Or perhaps medium oak. Haven't quite decided.

What about Almond White? I've just put a swatch on the wall and it looks a bit brighter and less grey than Timeless, but from the other angle looks darker than Timeless and beige!
It almost looks like a lighter Summer Linen?
Has anyone had Almond White??

@FondOfOwls I've used almond white in my east facing kitchen/living room, love the creaminess of it.

@FondOfOwls this is it with our oak shelves with natural lighting if it helps

@PlantsAndSpaniels Thank you, it does! We might end up doing Timeless in the living area and Summer Linen or Almond White in the bedroom. They look so relaxing to me. I'm quite fond of the current trend for beige.

Just interested in what colour you went for in the end. Having the same dilemma.

@Advocodo We ended up painting the dining room area in Nutmeg White... husband now loves it of course! It's west-facing. The sitting room area is Dulux Cotton White. I think Nutmeg White might be my favourite wall colour we have in the whole house!

I highly recommend the Johnstones ‘Farrow & Ball’ colour match of Pointing. It’s a perfect light warm white. I adore it and it looks fabulous in every room. You just go into Johnstone’s and ask them to mix it for you. They also dupe all other F&B colours and are spot on.

I have timeless in my bedroom and it looks lovely. I have Jasmine white in my lounge and it can have a yellow tone.

I don't think you can go wrong with timeless though.
