I’m thinking you could bring colour in so many other ways, leaves options open etc but wondering if it would be too clinical .

If not white pondering very pale gray or light sage green.

When we were looking at kitchens, I thought I liked the idea of white, but when I started going to showrooms, I found the white very stark and clinical. In the end we went for Cashmere, with a F&B Bancha Island. The Cashmere is a neutral taupe/putty colour with almost a pinky overtone. I like it because it's warm, but still undeniably neutral. It might not work in a very dark kitchen though as it's less reflective than bright white.

I don’t like white as it reminds me of a lab. The labs I used to spend too much time in at uni. I love the use of colour throughout the house not too dark as ironically harder to keep clean. Sage green ones I have seen look fabulous.

My mum has a white kitchen and twenty years later it’s still fine and hasn’t dated (her worktop has but units are fine)
if you like white I’d go for it; I think current colour trends will date so I’d go for what you like.
