Which blue is a typical Cotswolds blue and will get approved for listed building consent

We have a grade II listed cottage in the Cotswolds, which we are slowly restoring. All of the windows and doors need replacing except for the main front door. The previous owner painted them and the drainpipes, etc. quite a bright blue with quite a bit of yellow in it, which has always looked out of character.

The frames we want to propose to the council come coloured and we would like to pick a more typical Cotswold blue on the outside with white on the inside. I'm useless looking at colour charts and so am consulting here for views on which of the attached blues is best. The external walls are typical Cotswold stone. The front door is a plain medium /dark older oak (which will stay) and the other doors are modern, painted ones (which also need to be replaced). My current thought is 5023 but I am genuinely useless at this. Thoughts very welcome.

I lived in the Cotswold for years ( owned four houses successively). Blue is not a very Cotswold colour, you are much more likely to see a soft grey/ green in paintwork which harmonises more with the limestone, or a sort of lime putty colour.

I think it's normally more of a blue green grey colour, maybe RAL 6034 on the green hues, it's definitely not a bright blue.

I agree you want green

I agree with 6034.
Or 6021 if you could switch to a greener hue, away from the existing blue.

Don't ask on here, have the conversation with your conservation officer. That's their job.

Paintwork in that region is more of a soft green/grey.
