I have a similar bed to this but my three pics are square and all the same size. Will it look ok?

definitely closer to the bed frame. Generally when you hang pictures on a wall the centre of the picture should be at eye level which I guess is subjective depending how tall you are! That rule might not work necessarily taking into account a bed frame though. I've always found erring on the side of lower rather than higher works for me!

Thanks 👍

I wanted something above my bed, but wasn't brave enough for photos or a shelf, so I have these. One did fall off the first night, but I escaped unscathed.

Also concerned they will be too high on the wall. I centre everything 155cm from the floor (my eye level, ish).

How do these things suddenly fall off when they have been hung up for so long?
I think if my mirror fell on me it could kill me!! But it’s very secure. I can’t see what would change to make it suddenly fall.

Plaster can crumble over time, and continous stress (weights pulling) can obviously loosen stuff. If it is a lath and plaster wall, the lath can rot or get eaten by woodboring insects over time. Our 320 year old plaster ceiling above our bed came down, complete with ceiling rose. Luckily noone was in at the time, that would have been the end of them. We have a 'no jump on floors' rule in the house, as vibrations can make things fall off from walls and ceilings. With a heavy mirror, I would be careful and exchange it for a lightweight picture frame without glass, or only perpex.

Our house is plaster on brick I think. Would use wall plugs and screws rather than picture hooks. May be I will add a yearly Maintenance e task to check picture hooks.

@getlamped that looks really good! Also, where’s your bedding from, it’s such a lovely pattern.

Thanks @user1471447924

Bedding is from Dunelm.
