Has anyone used this? I'd be interested in your thoughts.

Not yet but we will be using it in the sitting room soon.

I have been painting the woodwork the same colour as the walls for a while now so it will be good to be able to use the one paint rather than buying emulsion and eggshell in the same colour.

DH has his doubts about the coverage and durability but the reviews look good.

I've not used it, but would be wary because I've used a multi-surface paint before and it didn't work on walls and ceilings. It went on OK but left it to dry and when I checked on it the paint was hanging like stalactites from the ceiling.
That was B&Q paint.
Matt paint on woodwork tends to show dirt.

I'm quite keen on mat but dead flat looks, well, truly dead. It's just a bit too low sheen for me. I worry it will make rooms look dark and dirty. Also, if you live in an old house, the idea of putting what is basically a low sheen eggshell onto plaster scares me a bit as I'm worried about breathability. I've used Edward Bulmer emulsion on walls, which has a lovely matt, chalky, rich finish, and Farrow and Ball eggshell onto woodwork. I obviously don't know the formula fir dead flat, but the general rule is that the higher the sheen, the more durable/winnable the paint. E.g. F&B modern eggshell has more sheen and is more durable, and gloss is almost as hard as diamonds.

wipeable, not winnable, sorry. Maybe it will grow on me, though. I'm definitely a fan of walls and woodwork in the same colour. Just still coming to terms with dead flat.
