Tips for shower curtain around a claw foot tub with shower

Hello,
Im a bit stumped as to the best way to set up a shower curtain over a claw foot tub (which will also be used for showering in)

Might sound simple but disclaimer...Im in a country where this is not a very common set up.
I've gone for this as I love the look and it was the most practical solution for our space however now I've got to sort the shower curtain and I'm realising there are a lot of issues with this concept!

We will be diy'ing a large ceiling mounted rectangle (with rounded corners) curtain track out of pipes...but my main concern is with the curtain itself (which I will diy sew)

Do I need an inner liner and an outer curtain?
Does the inner liner need to be a certain length to ensure it stays within the tub but doesn't tangle your feet?

Photo for reference of the 'look' i am going for.
Hit me with your best tips please!

And photos would be amazing too. Pinterest has a lot but they are mainly aesthetically pleasing ones and likely not practical!

I'm going to be honest with you, that bath was not a good choice as a bath/shower combo. I personally don't think roll top baths are compatible overhead showers. They typically take up more space so I'm confused as to how it was a practical choice?

I think the only real option is a full circle shower curtain inside the edges of the bath but I doubt it will be very comfortable.

We chose this set up many years ago and had a circular rail above the roll top bath, but this was a purpose made one and - being a fairly small circle - it was fitted/covered only the shower end.

Tbh, it was chosen purely for aesthetic reasons and we never used it as we had a separate shower elsewhere in the same bathroom....it looked lovely though, as does your example photo!

I have no idea but that is beautiful!

I can't see any practical way of doing this.
Maybe a well-weighted waterproof curtain long enough to hang inside the tub, and an absorbent mat outside so the curtain can be pulled-out and hung to dry. It will "suck in" when showering so there will be hardly any space.

Basically those baths weren't designed for showering in.
The photo is a privacy curtain for the bath not a functional shower curtain.

How far away from the wall the shower end? Would something like this work?
I wouldn’t have a lined shower curtain as you want it to be as light as possible. Can you buy a ready made one.

We are having the shower system in the middle of the back wall (like the example photo) rather than at one end.
And if my measurements are correct...then the over head drencher should be bang in the centre of the bath

I've found a couple more photos which I think show the best scenario for shower curtains.
An internal liner (for practical reasons) and a more decorative outer liner.

From what I've read it's important to get something heavy or weighted for the internal liner as the air temperature difference can cause a light weight curtain to suck in and cling to your body (horror!!)

Also we have a claw foot tub (like in the last 2 photos) rather than the more fancy roll top tub in the first photo.
The first photo is just my overall inspo pic for the space.

I'm normally a fan of the vintage look but are you sure you can't fit a more practical shower somewhere?

We had an overhead shower for a freestanding bath and simply did without any curtain. We just waterproofed the entire room (tanked it and then tiled), so any splashes could be wiped off/dry. I hate the feeling of a shower curtain on my skin. For practical reasons you would need a tiny round curtain rail, as Butterfly posted, that fits fully inside the bath. Believe me, it will end up clinging to your skin. Move the bath into a corner and get a glass shower door above it.
