Does anyone have outdoor bunting? I love the look but does it fade quickly? I think I'd rather have material/fabric than plastic..? Anyone recommend any nice tasteful bunting (probably blue emphasis rather than pink but open to suggestions!)

I have bunting and yes it does tend to fade sadly.

I made my own outdoor bunting and also made extra to sell at craft fairs. I used the PVC for tablecloths, you can now get so many designs (not a lot when I made mine)and after 8 years it hasn't noticeably faded. It is only when you are sat close to it you see it isn't cotton. I did a lot of trial and error as was selling some so wanted it to be truly sturdy enough for permanent outdoor use. I made it double sided, used brass eyelets so they didn't rust (the eyelets are now looking a bit mottled but not rusty) and I also used synthetic rope that looks like hemp as hemp might rot and white tape would look dirty quickly. Attached is a picture showing the dotty bunting. I also made some indoor and outdoor versions with VW campervans on and a cupcakes too. Dunelm have masses of PVC/oilcloth material if you want to give it a go.

Wow the bunting you have made is amazing and so pretty.
I am going to try this, did you stick the back and front together?
Not sure I will manage eyelets but will see. Thanks for the idea.

I make my own outdoor bunting, too. Most of the fabric I use is upcycled and/or scraps, so I don’t mind having to replace it every few years when it fades.

That's an awful lot of plastic to eventually go into landfill 🙁

I think it will last for a good few years yet and when it's no longer fit for purpose the plastic can be recycled.

I sewed it to make sure it didn't come apart, you could try sticking it though.
