Handleless kitchens - what are they like in practice?

I quite like the handleless kitchens I've seen, but I'm not sure how they work in real life. The type I like is where there is a space to the side or on top, allowing you to pull the doors open. (I'm not asking about the J-type where there is a scooped out section of the door, cos I can see how that would work). Do they end up with grubby finger marks on them? Are you always trying to open it from the hinges side by mistake? I'd love to hear how they pan out in practice.

Our last place had these, the grooves at the top of drawers and cupboards to open them just became crumb and drip traps!

I have a handless kitchen and all the doors and drawers are push to open. I have found that although a white glossy finish you can't see any fingerprints/marks unless it's chocolate spread that my teenager has left on the door Confused

I have one, relatively new about a year old. I LOVE it. It's so easy to clean ( our previous one had lots of grooves in the doors and this one is just flat doors)
The rail behind the cabinets is black and the doors are white and it looks fabulous!!
Highly recommend !

I would love to know what the post said that was deleted for breaking talk guidelines! It's a thread about kitchen cupboards!

We have one that is push to open. Gloss units that don’t show any dirt and are a doddle to clean. The push to open mechanism is a bit temperamental on long cupboard doors where there are two mechanisms- frequently only one of the push to open switches works so the door doesn’t close properly.

We have push to open white gloss. They do show some marks, so I wouldn't choose that finish again, but the push to open works well. Once you've had your kitchen for a few days I don't think you'd be pressing the wrong side as you would instinctively remember how to open it.

Not quite on topic, however I caught the title out of the corner of my eye and thought it said 'handless chickens' I can only imagine a handleless kitchen fairs better 😁
