Good places for furniture

Looking for recommendations of good places to buy furniture.
Need a coffee table and console table primarily - happy to invest in good quality but also don't want to go bankrupt!
Have tried ikea (only like the liatorp and we've already got that one!), Wayfair I find overwhelming and a bit hit and miss in the past, John Lewis again nothing I've seen that catches my eye.

Ebay...over a twenty year period we've bought everything from a vintage rug for a few £ up to an antique sideboard costing £4k. Also purchased contemporary pieces (new) from the likes of Made, Graham & Green and Rockett St George on there. Admittedly it can take a while to find what you're looking for but it's far more fun searching there than on Wayfair (did buy some nice bar stools on Wayfair about ten years ago though)!

There is a new company that I just came across in a local magazine. seems like good furniture and the prices seem reasonable. It's called hyggehansen. My sister bought these dining chairs first and then I had get get the same style but as a bar stool!

Facebook market place usually has something keep checking over the next few weeks. I always like the fact you get something you want but maybe didn't realise until you saw it.

Scumble Goosie, OKA, local auction house and charity shops, local joinery (many will recreate something at better quality and lower price that you've seen at Neptune, OKA, Chelsie Textiles, Julian Chichester etc).
