Roller blind fitting

Hi,
I am completely sick of arguing with my stupid inept husband about the kitchen blind which his parents had in their kitchen in the 70s, so we have inherited the bloody thing! We've just had another argument and I am thinking right I need a proper roller blind. There's no way I'm fitting it myself and there's no way DH will do it so can anyone please recommend a fitting service? I looked up Hillarys but apparently it's really expensive. Has anyone had this done and how much should I expect to pay?
Thanks x

We measured our windows and ordered them from Blinds2Go. DH put them up but they weren’t difficult because they were made to measure. I can’t tell you exactly how much it cost because we ordered quite a few blinds in one go.

£30 from dunelm. They are extremely easy to fit.

Blinds2go do clickfit ones which need no tools, cost a bit more though as you need to buy a made to measure blind and an extra £20 or so for the click fit clamp
You can buy easifit blinds from Dunelm and places like blinds2go which fit onto the window directly, these look like they can go be lowered and raised from the top or bottom.
I also found some cheaper options on Ebay where you glue the fixings to the frame but I wasn't too sure about these.
No help to you, as I ended up getting curtains instead as it was a bedroom and I realised there was already a curtain pole up.

Honestly, fitting a roller blind is one of the quickest and easiest jobs as long as the blind is the right size. You literally screw two brackets into the top corners of the frame and click the roller blind into place. It’s a 15 minute job

If the blind isn’t the right size it’s a bit trickier since you have to cut it first but that simply means drawing a line with a ruler, cutting along the fabric (no hemming or anything) and then cutting off the excess roller. It’s daunting but actually easy.

Thank you everyone for your helpful advice. 😊I think even I should be able to manage to fit one! The one we've got now, I can't reach the string to pull it up and it gets all knotted up which causes awful calamity in the household! 😂
