How would you describe both/ either of these paint colours?

Having kitchen refitted. It’s a cream (but I think closer to white) shaker style with oak effect worktops, white upstand tiles and limestone tiles on the floor.

I thought I wanted to paint the kitchen a white colour that has a blue or grey/ cool undertone because the attached dining area has a sort of coastal theme and blue and white accessories. But now I’m thinking about the oak effect worktop and the limestone tiles, which are more towards beige than grey in their undertones, maybe I need a white that has more of a cream/ beige/ warmer tone?

Any thoughts or experience? And what would you say are the colours/ undertones of these walls?!

The first is a nutmeg white.

The second looks like Egyptian Cotton.

hard to tell as the one on the right looks fake. The one on the left looks like an actual kitchen.

They are both whiteish, plain and nearly indistinguishable form one another even if you squint a lot. The rooms in the pictures are lit differently, though.

You’ve decided to paint it off white. Just do that. Or, just get pure brilliant white if you are going for it as it’s cheap and really easy to match and patch when it gets filthy, which it will.

So helpful @yorkshirepudsx ! Thank you 😊 . This helps a lot with getting started with testers.

@TheLightSideOfTheMoon Thanks! I think nutmeg would be a warmer white then, probably.

@InTheFutilityRoomEatingBiscuits I thought white was white too until I started looking! Some definitely have more yellow come through and others grey, for example.

I don’t think it will get filthy. Our kitchen walls in our previous property didn’t. It’s just my partner and I, so no kids probably helps!

@CurlyhairedAssassin Yes, I think you’re right. And lighting changes everything of course so probably just need to get a few testers. But trying to reduce the number of pots!

Natural Light makes such a massive difference and the only way to really know what colours will look like to to get sample pots and slap a bit of paint on the walls.

I often fall in love with a colour online/sample chart then choose something different once I've bought a few paint samples and I've painted them on the actual walls that I'm redecorating.

Amazing what tones and hints of colour emerge when you do that.
