Vinyl stick on floor tiles

Can anyone recommend some good peel and stick tiles for the bathroom? Had a look in B&Q today but the patterns don't seem very inspiring and looking at them again online now, the reviews aren't great either. I don't mind spending a bit more for decent quality (although not ridiculously so).

Also, are they as easy to lay down as they look? Any tips would be welcome, especially the 'what not to do's'!

If it's for a bathroom, I'd use vinyl flooring.

I've only ever read that they unstick at the edges (reviews) and are not worth it. Watching with interest however.

Jes rose vinyl. They're flexible so don't snap and can be removed easily.

I bought some on Amazon - I think they were £10 a box and I used 2 boxes for a small bathroom. They're pretty good and pretty easy to install, although I did need to caulk around the edge of the room. I used a sheet of paper as a template to go around the sink and toilet etc.

I've used the dunelm ones on a pantry floor. They worked well.

They're not great to be honest. They tend to peel up at the edges in high traffic areas as the glue ages. I would just get a single sheet of vinyl professionally laid and it won't cost much more.

Thanks all for the advice.

@imnotthatkindofmum I've been looking on the Jes Rose website. Did you lay yours in the bathroom?

@FreyaHazel Do you happen to remember which ones you got on Amazon?

I used a sheet of paper as a template to go around the sink and toilet etc.

This is the bit that worries me too!

Yes they stick really well.

I've used cheap ones from amazon before in my old caravan and they also stuck really well (even when damp in the winter!) but harder to fit to shape. You can use sturdy scissors on the Jew rose ones.

We used Floorpops as an interim solution for a kitchen floor that we wanted to spruce up whilst waiting for an extension.

They were stuck by us, inexpertly, over old quarry tiles that were cracked and damaged in places. They stuck down well - no problems with that at all. They ended up being down for about 3 years.

What we did find, though, was that some of the pattern was beginning to wear off in high use areas. This could be, however, that we just stuck them down on an uneven and not properly prepared surface. On a smooth even surface they may have lasted better.

On the whole, we were really happy with them, and I think they looked fantastic. I'm considering using them for our new downstairs loo.

They have some great patterns

@mrsm43s Thank you! Will have a look at those this evening - 3 years is ideal because that's when we're looking at getting a full refurb so just want something nice to tide us over till then.
