Which brand paint for good coverage?

I only want to paint a room white but dulux once now seems to need 2/3 coats of paint.I know F&B is designed for 3 thin coats so won’t buy that.
We don’t have the health/energy to be able to give a room multiple coats and it badly needs doing.

Can anyone recommend a paint that has good coverage? Tia

I’ve always found Mylands gives really good coverage with a nice flat finish money wise it’s on par with FB or Little greene it’s also really hardwearing.

A trade paint gives the best coverage -
So something like Dulux Trade or Johnstones Trade.
They're sometimes slightly more expensive than 'regular' paint but the coverage is better and you use less coats/time. I like Farrow and Ball colours, so I usually get them coloured matched into Johnstone's Trade

I’m currently painting with Johnstones for the first time and I’m very impressed. I’ve done two coats and it looks great.

I was very surprised by johnstones as it’s pretty cheap and gives good coverage. You might still have to give it a couple of coats but it’s by far better than the crown stuff we used

Dulux Heritage Trade.

thanks for all the suggestions.

I’d used johnstones cupboard paint and it was awful so it’s never occurred to me to try their emulsion. I’ve never heard of Mylands & I assumed trade was just bigger tubs rather than different quality.

I think I need to get some testers.

Selco own brand is brilliant at covering walls that have had dark paint on, so would be just as good if you just want a good cover white paint.

Recommended by a professional tradesman.

Ive found wilkos own to be good quality

We’ve normally used Dulux Trade, from the Dukux decorator centres and had very good results. F&B needs at least 3 coats so I’d avoid that. We also recently had very good results with Neptune own brand, which I think is made by Little Green, and found 2 coats gave a very good finish.

I came back to report that we used Tikkurila paint. It is AMAZING! The coverage, and just the depth (is that the word I mean?), of the white paint on walls is outstanding. We had to drive an hour round trip to the nearest supplier, it’s more expensive than any paint we’ve bought before, but I would definitely recommend it.

Valspar Trade Tough

It only comes in 10l pots though but I am really impressed with it.

Johnstones trade.
