Made to measure curtains

Can anyone recommend the best place to get made to measure curtains that don't cost a months salary please? Have moved into a new property that desperately needs curtains but it's a very wide bay window and I can't get off the shelf like I usually would!

Just buy two sets of ready made and pull them both across when you draw the curtains. It's easier if you don't have a pattern, but even if you do, it's not that noticeable that they don't line up.

Oh my goodness. This could be genius!

@TheSmallAssassin is a genius. M2M curtains for bay windows cost £1000s!

Hand made curtains are wildly expensive. Just been quoted £4,500 from a local maker for two linen sets to cover two large sets of French doors and one Roman blind for a large bay window. Most of the online MTM places are cheaper but don’t have a good fabric selection. Would be good if there was a middle way…

Well, I can't really claim the idea as my own, we have really wide suntrap windows and the previous owners left their double pairs behind. Though I have bought new sets since we moved in 😁

I had my curtains for my massive windows made by curtains2go. Really good quality made to measure far cheaper than people like John Lewis. My house is full of massive windows so I will be using them again.

This is a great idea. Can you get a local Taylor/alterations shop to fashion them together?

I often buy off the shelf and use a local service to adjust. Much cheaper.
