Silestone Ethereal Glow - anyone have this?

We’re having a new kitchen installed in August and I’m currently trying to decide between Antolini Calacatta Lincoln and Silestone Ethereal Glow quartz worktops. I haven’t been able to see a full slab of the Ethereal Glow in person and I’m worried about choosing based on a small sample, so I was wondering if anyone else has recently installed this in their kitchen, and whether you would mind sharing a few pics / video please? Thank you 😊

May I ask which one you went with please. I too really like Silestone Ethereal Glow.

Hi LindaDawn, unfortunately we were never able to see a large sample or a photo from anyone’s install of Ethereal Glow, however the decision was ultimately made for us as when we got a quote it was significantly more expensive than the Calacatta Lincoln, which is what we went with in the end. I have to say I’m really very pleased with it, although I suspect I might have preferred the Ethereal Glow had I been able to see a large slab / afford it! I’ve attached a couple of pics of ours just after fitting for you - hope this helps 😊

Thank you so much. The Antolini Lincoln looks lovely. Is it also a Silestone? Lincoln is my maiden name so perhaps I should take a look at it as well. We have been quoted £3,750 for the Silestone Miami Vena and that is in the mid price range but decided that is too bland now. The Ethereal Glow is in the top tier price range so god knows what that will cost. It’s not even a particularly big kitchen, in fact hardly any worktop space at all. My new kitchen will be a slab style in dove grey with Wood effect LVT.

No, Calacatta Lincoln is manufactured by Antolini, whereas Silestone (I think) is manufactured by Consentino, so they’re definitely not the same thing. Although both are quartz. We bought ours through our kitchen installer who used a place in Leeds that had large slabs you could go and have a proper look at. Price-wise I think ours ended up costing around £4,100 (😱) However that included the full splash back all along the hob wall under the top cabinets, upstands everywhere else and quartz into the window sill. We justified the increase in price for the splash backs as we would have had to have bought tiles and paid a tiler to fit them anyway! Ours is quite a large kitchen with quite a bit of worktop, so if yours isn’t and you’re getting on for £4k without any splash backs or anything then it does sound a tad expensive. Good luck with it 😊
