Window dressing for 1960s wide bay window - I am without inspiration!

Help! I've only ever lived in Victorian houses and have no idea what to do in a 1960s house. All the algorithms on websites know I like an old house and hardly anything ever turns up on Pinterest for this style of window.

We've just gone from manky carpet to parquet and the floor is now beautiful but it makes the room echoey. We need textiles to deaden sound and warm it up.

Can anyone inspire me with ideas for window treatments (I think curtains but will happily look at other options) for the windows in the picture?

I'm just bumping this in a spirit of hopefulness! Not sure whether curtains are the thing at all, although the hedge that gives us privacy might well have to come down, in which case we will need something.

I was thinking that curtains inside the curve might look old fashioned (rather than a stylish modern nod to the 60s) but that longer curtains across the front of the window seat might cut off the warmth from the radiator and short curtains across the front would look like a stage, but not in a good way!

I'm thinking that either voile panels or shutters might be the best for looks but that wouldn't solve our echo problem.

Any ideas really welcomed!

One large and two small Roman Blinds on your windows would look good, but would hamper the opening of the small windows at the top.

Full length curtains across the bay would be my choice but your TV would need to be re-situated.

I agree re the TV. DP bought the most horrendously huge tv when unsupervised! I'm trying to persuade him to move it into a wall mounted fixture within a built in shelving unit. I'll find a way to get it out of the way.

We have curtains in a half bay and it turns out any fixings with a curve are a nightmare! I would go for blinds I think.

Do you have other soft furnishings in now? That should soften the echo.
