Black quarry tiles in kitchen

Hey everyone, hoping for some advice on the following. I really want a Matt black tile for the kitchen walls, I am getting slightly bored of the metro tile look and have found the perfect tile in terms of colour and feel but it's a quarry tile and I'm not sure if these can be used on the wall, they are quite thick? Any advice from someone more knowledgeable than me. I'll try and link to the tile..... 😁

They are lovely, however it states it’s for the floor only. I would look for an alternative for walls

Floor tiles may usually be used on walls as well (but not other way round, as wall-only tiles are not hardwearing enough for floors). Perhaps (some) quarry tiles may be too heavy for walls? I've seen much chunkier tiles listed as suitable for walls (e.g. these tiles are 1.8mm thick compared to yours which are 0.8mm) but maybe they're as not as dense as quarry tiles? www.firedearth.com/bert-may-small-old-iron-15cmx-15cm
Maybe drop a quick line to the supplier to clarify?

thanks both, my concern was that they might be too thick and heavy.... I think i'll keep on searching :)

I have quarry tiles on the floor and can confirm they are thick and heavy. I have original Victorian ones and modern replacements. Modern ones are a lot slimmer at just under 1cm thick - they're double the thickness of normal wall tiles so I think you might struggle to get them to hold.
