I'm not sure about this new colour

I posted before about paint colour for my hall.

I opted for Perfectly Taupe in the end, and it's been finished today. It's not really what I expected - a little darker maybe?

Now I have absolutely no clue what to do in terms of everything else! (Rug, lighting, artwork, etc)

I don't know what colours would go with the paint colour, without it looking bland overall.

Please help Sad pics attached

I think it's quite nice. Not my usual colour range but at least it's not wishy-washy.
Hard to know what accessories you might like without knowing what the style in the rest of your home is.
Colours alone, I can see it with a traditional red oriental rug.

I think it looks fabulous! Not sure what to put with it so not very helpful but it looks lovely!!

I have a very similar colour in my hallway. Blues are gorgeous with it.

I've just moved in. Living room was already dark blue, kitchen has a green feature wall, one bedroom is blue and grey and my room has also been painted today in Just Walnut as I thought there was enough colour elsewhere. I like deep colours, but think there is plenty and didn't want the hall to be overpowering on entry, if that makes sense?

I like it. I think this colour works well with wood tones and black and white, with a focus on introducing lots of different textures.
Sort of like these

Its quite neutral so I would imagine any colour you like
You could go quite bold or stick to just a splash of colour

I love it!

It’s gorgeous! I think a mid-century console table would look nice, with a couple of plants and also some kind of large mirror.

I think that's lovely, nice and warm, clean, fresh and soft. I would go for a circular thick cream or natural coloured rug as there's lots of square lines there so would be nice to break that up a bit. Your ceiling looks quite high so you could get away with a decent sized light - go dramatic! The larger wall a console table/cabinet would be nice with perhaps a mirror above it. Gold would be better than silver but leather would be nice too.

We’ve just had ours done but in a lighter shade -rock salt. It looks quite clinical but once our pictures are up it’ll be fine and tie the other rooms together which are more colourful blues. No idea what carpet to put on the stairs though as I’m not a fan of grey … but it’s probably most practical

Very similar to my living room colour (coat paints - soul sunday) I've paired it with gold accessories, a patterned rug, black furniture. Mine is a greige. Also like going down the naturals/weave/woven/scandi look.

Thanks for all the suggestions.

I have moved a large plant from the kitchen to the hall, and placed a brightly coloured, white framed print on the wall and I can see that it can be a nice space, despite not being the shade i anticipated. I think I agree with the suggestion of a circular natural or cream rug.

I have struggled to pick a light fitting for my living room, so that's two i now need to find Grin Suggestions welcome!

A wooden console table or small wooden sideboard, definitely.
