Sofa recommendations please

I'm hoping the wise people of Mumsnet can help in my search for a comfortable, well-made sofa.
I don't know where to start... I've looked in John Lewis & like the 'Draper' model - mid-century-ish but with a high back. It was really comfy but I'm not sure about the quality. A friend has a new Loaf sofa which looks great when seat cushions are plumped up, but seems to 'sag' really quickly which would annoy me.
Current sofas are 14 years old and still really comfy but have been scratched by cats and generally look pretty battered. They were from Multi-York, which sadly went bankrupt otherwise I'd buy from them again. The ones I looked at in John Lewis seemed SO expensive and definitely not as good quality as the sofas I have.
I don't really have the wherewithal to be visiting loads of shops so I'd like to narrow my search a bit. Would you recommend IKEA (had one of their sofas back in the day but it was v uncomfy, maybe they've changed?)? Sofa Workshop? DFS?? An independent place?? I'm in SE England.

What's your budget? And how big a sofa do you want?

We got our last sofa from Sofasofa and it has lasted 12 years of very active kids.
We've just bought this one.
Prices are good, delivery time relatively short - ordered this one mid-December and it's arriving next week. They've a lot of different styles and will send out fabric samples quickly.

Thanks for your replies!
@janinaDuszejko not sure about budget, definitely a 3 seater up to about 220cm. The 3-4 seaters I looked at in JL were approx £1700 which seemed extortionate!

@Maladicta thanks so much for the recommendation. I’ve just had a browse & ordered some samples. The sofas look really good in the pics and much more reasonably priced! I really like the look of of your Agatha but the higher-backed Florence probs better for me. I’m even tempted by one which looks exactly like my current sofas Grin

They're a lovely, family company and really go the extra mile. We're now besties with Lisa the dispatch lady who's organising the delivery next week 😁

Collins and Hayes are similar quality to Multiyork.

I'd recommend Marks and Spencers, Next and Sofology

I've got my eye on this sofa from Next. Has anyone got one of these and would recommend?

Collins & Hayes.
I have 2 twenty yr ok sofas and am planning to buy new removable covers this year. The company keep the patterns for many of their historic models so you can order new covers any time. Their factory is in Nottingham just off the M1 so you can visit direct to choose fabrics or they can send samples.
Ours are thread-bear after 3 dogs and the family using and abusing, but they are solid and very very comfortable. The seat area is very deep so for or tall family they are perfect. The large sofa is 6’3 between the arms so ideal for sleeping and often doubles as a spare bed when DS17 brings home a friend overnight.

Just coming on to recommend them. Our sofas historically have had a hard life and theirs last about 12 years.

They are all made in the UK.

We visited the showroom last month to choose a new sofa and I was impressed with the range and quality.

They can cover any of their sofas in any of their fabrics as they make them to order, you just have to ask them.

They also sell the same fabric by the meter to match which is useful if you have cats or dogs sleeping on the sofa.

I've ordered extra to make a matching topper so I can wash it easily.

Always a super quality sofa and I like that it supports UK industry.

Where are the best places in London to go and actually sit on sofas in real life?

I have no idea about London, but I went to a retail park that has a number of sofa shops like sofology, dfs, scs, oak furniture land and Next.
