Intimidating empty lounge wall Help!

I have the best diagram! All done one handed whilst my baby contact naps... 🤦🏻‍♀️... I'm forever thinking about this wall at the moment!

The grey corner shape is our corner sofa which faces patio windows and the TV (black box in diagram). The blue rectangle is a picture set between two wall lights (not shown on diagram). The white cube is going to be a set of IKEA kallax shelving for baby toys in boxes.

I couldn't show on the diagram but the wall is horizontally divided with a dado rail and the top half is painted calico (cream) and the bottom half a coffee /grey colour.

What on earth is do I /we do with the empty wall with a the kallax shelving on the one end?

A nice big picture
Statement wallpaper (I hate it but some people like it!)
Nice mirror
200 bits of toddler art (coming your way)

I like the idea of a mirror. The intimidating wall faces our dining room (technically open plan as we've taken the dividing doors off). But would then mirror be better in through dining room facing the lounge?

What kind of picture? The one we have on the adjacent wall is a detailed traditional oil painting /print of a local area of my home town. So I'm really stuck as to what picture to use for the intimidating wall 😂

Mirror opposite to door should work well and add light/sense of space.

With pictures, I only care if I love it - that’s all that matters. One you both like or else a mirror.
