What do your plant pots sit on?

I'm looking for something more modern looking than a doiley to go underneath plant pots which are sitting on shelves / furniture. Just to protect against scratches and the odd drop of water.

What do I need??

Vintage saucers from charity shops

I use place mats on our limestone mantel piece a piece of slate on dining room table. My plants are too big for saucers. I tend to look for quirky containers to hide the flower pots. Found a giant cup and saucer plant holder at B&M recently. DIL hunts things down in charity shops and spray paints them

I use coasters. Enough to lift it off the surface but you don't see them.

Just to be clear they are in a variety of stone / ceramic pots (with the plastic pot inside). It's more something for those to sit on.

Either cork coasters or pretty tiles with cork/felt stuck into the underside so that furniture doesn’t get marked.

Or stick felt pads on the bottom of the china pots, as long as they don't have holes in the bottom.

A wooden tray

A bookcase is good too or a windowsill works fine.
