Can Dulux Diamond matt be mixed with ordinary white matt to make it lighter?

I want lilac white/violet white paint for a project

I tend to try to buy second hand because of sustainability

But I cant see the colour I want on Facebook marketplace or eBay

So I wondered if a lavender diamond matt paint could be mixed with a matt white (also dulux but not 'diamond') to make it lighter?

Here are two white paint colours from the Purple-Blue Hue Family.

If you look them up, go off the colour codes, not the names.
The colour codes are International but the nMes are often localised, so may differ.

Thanks, but they aren't on Facebook marketplace or ebay and I don't want to buy new paint

I need to make what I want with what I can find

Is diamond matt paint mixable with matt paint

I understand. I’m sorry I can’t help with that one. 🌈

No worries an expert painter and decorator will come along in a bit and tell me!

Katy. I'm not sure m, but the Dulux trade places are incredibly helpful if you ring them.
If I had to guess I'd say they wouldn't mix. If you're using them on what I'm guessing check the surface is suitable for them too. Remember they're wall paint. Our local B&Q sells returned paint too - might be worth a look there too.

Good luck.

Ooo returned paint!! Good call I'll go look

It's for wood/ply so I'll need to prime probably with watered down pva
