Sliding glass doors?

Hi

We are having an extension built and intend to put 5m sliding glass doors (three panels - one fixed two that stack up) with a level threshold. Any ideas how much this will cost to be fitted? Cheers

Plastic or aluminium?

If aluminium with a slim frame my guess would be 7-8k for sliders and 5k for bifolds... not sure on plastic but considerably more reasonable - maybe 33-50% less...
by all things play in - fensa, colour, height, etc etc

Aluminium with slim frame - quote from one company has come back at 12k - seems a lot!

I've got 2 x 3m of sliders, triple track, were £7k.

I had quotes for 7.2 metres and for 8 metres wide (which I was told over 7.2 would be a jump due to needing to go to an even higher level of glass) and both were less than that... I'm gonna check but think around 10k - maybe it's the height you're going for pushing it up... I had my builders lower the opening - as much as taller glass would be more beautiful I just had to trim off the budget along the way... loved sliders - 3 doors was my plan but have ended up going for 6 pane bifolds as they were cheaper too... I think 2-3k cheaper than sliders - gutting whole house and rear two floor side and loft extension - so everything is money money money

Ours a couple of years ago was £9.8k plus vat and then another £1.2k plus vat for a solar control glass option. Doors were pretty high - 2.8m high x 4.4m wide. This is for super slim frames 22mm and in London

To note mine above were only 2.3m high - I reduced the height to save costs

Also London
