To think £1360 for flooring is about right?

We've been quoted 1360 for carpet in two double bedrooms and upstairs landing and stairs, laminate downstairs hall way and living room and small cubby hole. We have a two bed new build house. I think the price is about right? Hubby wants to get more quotes but I honestly can't be bothered.

That's pretty cheap 😀

enjoyingscience · 26/03/2021 18:22

Cheap as chips that is.

midgedude · 26/03/2021 18:25

Unlikely to be god quality at that price

Mirrorxx · 26/03/2021 18:26

That’s very cheap. I’m paying 1800 for carpet in 2 bedrooms, and 1100 for engineered wood in the living room next week

milasmuma · 26/03/2021 18:29

Thanks I thought so! We've only ever rented so don't have a clue and don't have a massive budget either, we could of got a cheaper carpet but it was horrendous.

Agree that is very cheap indeed

VerityWibbleWobble · 26/03/2021 18:58

God that's cheap, I'd be worried about either the quality of the products and if that includes fitting then I'd be petrified Grin

NameChangedForThisFeb21 · 26/03/2021 19:18

For materials and fitting?!

That’s bloody fantastic!

PurBal · 26/03/2021 19:24

Cheap.

cravingthelook · 26/03/2021 19:24

That's cheap, I just got DD bedroom with good quality laminate and it was 640 just that room! (Local company and got company owner friend discount)

HollowTalk · 26/03/2021 19:27

Does that include underlay?

dewisant2020 · 26/03/2021 19:28

That's cheap, I paid £920 for my bedroom carpet alone

altiara · 27/03/2021 01:56

I paid over £700 for just stairs and landing!

ImReallyNotYouKnow · 28/03/2021 13:40

We were more than that for living room, stairs, upper and lower hallway and kitchen (all small) 10 years ago. Very cheap.
