Bed for DS

Hi, I have already asked about this but put it in the wrong topic section really.

I am getting a bit stressed out as to what to do about my DS's bed. He is still in with me since we moved, and this is becoming a problem for a couple of reasons. I need to get him a new bed, some toddler ones have been suggested, but I noted that they only go up to about age 4/5, so I think what is the point as it won't be long and it will need to be changed again.
Then there have been suggestions of just getting a full size single bed?! But I don't think it will fit in his bedroom 😳 so what do I do.
I will need to put guards around it as my DS moves a lot.

How big is the room?
If it is a narrow room you could look at a 2ft 6 bed

It's close to the floor, and I can't guarantee it incase your son turns into a giant but otherwise he wont outgrow it

What about the Ikea Minnen? Mine have had these, they are extendable and go from junior to full size. They are nice with fairy lights and I love the bright yellow and turquoise versions. I also think junior beds last longer than advertised, my 6 year old still fits with plenty of room on the junior bed setting.
