Does anyone own an everhot cooker?

I have just seen a second hand everhot 60 cooker for sale. I have been desperate for one for years for my tiny and cold kitchen. Just wondering what running costs are like? And would the kitchen get too hot in the summer? Presume they stay on all the time even though they are electric? Also is the 60 big enough? (sadly don't have room for anything bigger) really thinking about hob size. Often cook with 3 pans but hardly ever with 4.

Any advice or reviews would be welcome!

TIA

I have a 60 and I love it. The ovens are large, much bigger than. Rayburn which I used to have. The hob is big, three pans would be no problem , four would be fine too as long as one wasn’t a wok or similar. My sister also has one and never used the bottom oven, they are vegetarian and don’t tend to slow cook. I use both ovens. About once a year I think I could do with a bit more cooking space, usually if I’m cooking Xmas dinner for 10. I was in an 80’s house and found that with the wood burner in the lounge I only used the central heating first thing and just before bed time and I work from home so there all day. In the summer I’d just open the windows if it was too hot. It doesn’t give off as much heat as the Rayburn did and I never found it oppressive.I’ve just move temporarily in to my fiancé’s old cottage while we look to buy together. He had no heating in his kitchen and I hated it. It was like Siberia. It is now lovely and cosy. Running cost they reckon £12 a week. I think that’s about right but I a. had solar panels and b. run a small kiln and oxygen converter everyday do my usage wouldn’t be typical. If you see one second hand ask for the serial number and call Everhot and the can confirm it’s a genuine cooker, not scam advert and give you the number of the company who move them. They can check it out on arrival at sellers house before you make payment.

That's great. Just the sort of advice I was after! @Beadmaker1 I am going to go for it! Can't wait to have a toasty kitchen!

You’re welcome. My partner thought I was mad when I first met him and I had just ordered mine. He’s a convert now, he was even wondering if we should go for a bigger one when we move but I’m happy with my 60z
