Best furniture paint

I used Annie Sloan a few years ago but I realise there's lots of competitors nowadays... could anyone recommend their favourite furniture paint? I'm looking for primer and paint all in one, eg the lazy approach!

It's not the paint, it's the preparation. Chalk paint isn't my cup of tea.

If you want a shortcut, use zinsser-bin then paint with eggshell.

Ok thanks, that's a great tip!

The zinsser-bin isn't cheap, but it's raved about on here. So much so, I tried it.

I've been painting mismatched furniture and used eggshell and although it is not all that durable, it's ok.

I have used B&Q's Colour Everywhere and it is ok on bare wood but you'll need more than one coat, and it dries quickly. If you are painting over pine, you'll need to do the knots.

One thing with the B&Q CE was that it would not stick to my walls or ceilings and as soon as it dried it hung off in strips. Confused
I bought it ages ago so they might have changed the formula by now.

I've used v33 renovation and didn't do any priming at all. Worked lovely.

@MikeUniformMike
If the paint doesn't stick generally it is not the paint itself but the surface you are painting onto.
For example in an older property one may find ceilings have been 'painted' with distemper and it's like painting onto of chalk - it just doesn't stick.

Thanks @TwoLeftSocksWithHoles. I used emulsion and that worked.
